A few words about Martué and surroundings.
With its 150 inhabitants and a few active farms, Martué is a small village that exudes authenticity.
It is common to see a herd of cows through the village to get from a pasture to another.
A pretty little 18th century chapel in the village center gives it a special charm.
Its old mill and the bridge over the Semois make a picturesque set.
The city Florenville is about 2 kilometers, the forest Epioux, 5 minutes further north, is one of the most gamey Belgian territories.
Martué is central to many excursions to discover beautiful natural sites which are attached mysterious legends: Rock Pinco, the Rock Squirrel, the valve Monks, the Rock Cat.
Some of these sites are visible from amazing angles when they're discovered during a descent of the Semois by canoe or kayak.
The farm offers the possibility to rent bikes or canoes.
